Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has opened up about his meeting with crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky. In a candid interview on the latest edition of the Echoroom podcast, Portable revealed that he had offered Bobrisky advice regarding his lifestyle choices.
Portable, who describes Bobrisky as a friend, questioned why the crossdresser chooses to present himself as a woman despite being born male. “I am God-sent and an angel of God. I told Bobrisky to stop what he is doing. I told him, ‘If you want to be a woman, be a woman. If you want to be a man, be a man,’” he said during the interview.
The singer also shared his views on the financial support Bobrisky received from other celebrities after his release from detention. Contrary to other celebrities, Portable stated that he did not contribute any funds to Bobrisky’s cause, explaining that crossdressing goes against his religious beliefs.
It is worth noting that after Bobrisky’s release from detention, he had posted an appreciation message thanking several celebrities, including Funke Akindele, Don Jazzy, Tonto Dikeh, and others, for their financial support.
A notable revelation from the podcast was Portable admitting that adultery was what initially led him to Bobrisky’s social media page, as he had mistaken him for a woman.
