Former Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has conveyed his gratitude to God for not being involved in President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He expressed his thankfulness for not being among those causing suffering to Nigerians and mismanaging basic governance.
El-Rufai made these remarks during an interview with Arise TV.
He mentioned that his absence from Mr. Tinubu’s government has spared him from facing accountability for the calamity the administration has inflicted on Nigerians.
The former Kaduna governor described Mr Tinubu’s administration as evil and a tragedy he participated in bringing upon Nigeria, adding he wants to join other opposition politicians to oust Mr Tinubu from office in 2027.
“Anytime I wake up and see Tinubu inflicting more pain on Nigerians and just bungling governance, the simplest things in governance that I knew when I was DG BPE, whenever I see them, I thank God,” Mr El-Rufai said.
“I think God saved me. I’m really lucky. God saved me from the embarrassment of explaining being part of this disaster,” Mr El-Rufai added.
