In other news… Social media personality VeryDarkMan has issued what many have described as a mock apology to the First Lady of Bayelsa State, Gloria Diri, following his earlier criticism.

In a post shared online, he appeared to retract his previous statements, saying:

“I want to sincerely tender my unreserved apology to the First Lady of BAYELSA state Mrs Gloria diri over the video I made earlier, I spoke out of emotions.”

He also addressed the state’s Director General of New Media, Samuel Kolawole Oredipe, noting that he would understand any legal action taken against him.

“To the DG new media of BAYELSA state Mr Samuel kolawole oredipe I will understand if she the First Lady decides to sue me for what I said in my video however I am so sorry,” he added.

VeryDarkMan further extended his apology to media houses in the state, concluding his message with:

“to the media houses In BAYELSA that wasn’t happy I am sorry…thank you all…RATEL MOVEMENT.”

Despite the apology, many social media users have interpreted the statement as sarcastic, given his previous strong remarks about the Bayelsa First Lady.
