Nigerian singers, Peruzzi and Fireboy DML, recently engaged in a game of FIFA and decided to bet some cash for the player who wins the game.
Apparently, Peruzzi thrashed his colleague, Fireboy, in the game and ultimately won the bet. However, Fireboy wasn’t too pleased with his loss and threw hilarious jabs at Peruzzi.
Fireboy born Adedamola Adefolahan, reminded him of how he has also made money from his (Peruzzi) name through his trending hit song, Peru.
The punchline of the massively successful song is “Peru don dey para” which literally means “Peruzzi has gotten angry”, and the song is currently making waves on music charts.
The humorous exchange was shared on Twitter by Peruzzi and it has cracked the ribs of many social media users.
“Not me beating Damola to a bet in FIFA, only for him to say “No wahala, I kuku made money with your name too” Shen gbo weyrey,” he tweeted.
