Lt. Yarima became a public sensation following his encounter with Minister Wike on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. During the minister’s visit to a site in the Gaduwa District of Abuja to enforce government directives, his convoy was halted by Lt. Yarima and other armed personnel, who stated they were acting based on “orders from above.”
The situation escalated when Wike lashed out at the officer, calling him a fool. Yarima, however, maintained his composure and responded respectfully, saying, “I’m not a fool, Sir. I have integrity.”
