A Nigerian police officer and single mother of three has sparked widespread reactions online after sharing a deeply personal ordeal, claiming she has been pregnant for four years.
In a viral video posted on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that despite being part of the police force, she has struggled to get justice, which led her to speak out publicly about her situation.
In her words, she said:
“I am a police officer, a single mother of 3, and carrying a pregnancy for 4 years now. I have sought spiritual solutions to the pregnancy, and I was told it was the Alhaji who impregnated me, is the one responsible for my ordeal.”
She alleged that an influential Alhaji took advantage of her and is responsible for her condition.
The officer further revealed that she confronted the man she believes is behind her predicament, but he reportedly dismissed her concerns and told her to involve the police if she wished.
According to her, the situation became even more frustrating when she noticed some officers behaving cordially with the man and allegedly accepting money from him.
“I have challenged him, but he asked me to call police and I have seen police officers acting cordial with him and also collecting money from him,” she added.
Feeling left with no other option, she appealed to the public for help, urging people not to judge her because of her role as a police officer but to support her in seeking justice.
Her story has since generated mixed reactions online, with some expressing anger over the alleged actions of authorities, while others have shown sympathy and offered prayers.
