Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has revealed that he admired President Bola Tinubu long before joining the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mbah said his admiration began when Tinubu removed fuel subsidy and unified the foreign exchange market on May 29, 2023, adding that he was inspired by the President’s leadership style and reform-driven agenda.

“I fell in love with this president from the day he made the announcement to remove fuel subsidy and unified the foreign exchange market essentially.

“This is because, given my background as somebody who plays in the oil and gas sector, I’ve also written features in the past on why it has become necessary for the subsidy to go.

“I enjoy a very good relationship with the President, no doubt about that,” he stated.
