Speaking in a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the Nollywood actress shared that she was five months pregnant at the time she found out her best friend was three months pregnant for the same man.
Addressing the reason behind her divorce for the first time, Omo Local explained that the betrayal deeply affected her emotionally. She said the shame and trauma she experienced pushed her into a dark place.
“I was five months pregnant, and my best friend was three months pregnant for my husband. The trauma was overwhelming, and I drank poison out of shame,” she said.
When asked about her former friend’s current situation, the actress stated that she no longer keeps in touch and is unaware of her whereabouts. She added that, to her knowledge, her ex-husband and the woman went on to have three children together after she left the marriage.
In a separate development, Olaniyi Afonja, better known as Sanyeri, also reflected on his personal journey, particularly his educational background and early experiences in the film industry.
During an interview on Behind The Fame, the comic actor spoke about his childhood perception of education. He admitted that while growing up, he saw schooling as something meant to satisfy parents rather than an investment in his own future. At the time, he viewed school as a burden because he did not fully understand its importance.
Now older and more experienced, Sanyeri said he regrets not advancing his education earlier in life. He revealed that he has since made efforts to return to school and is currently awaiting the outcome of those steps. According to him, education has no age barrier, and anyone can choose to further their studies at any point in life.
