Nigerian Grammy award-winner, Damini “Burna Boy” Ogulu, recently warned ace American rapper, Diddy during a challenge, to respect his status as a music legend.
Burna said the reason he issued the warning to the music executive is to help him avoid being embarrassed on the dance floor.
The two music stars attended a star-studded party in New York, USA and it seems Diddy had challenged the self-styled ‘African Giant’ to a dance battle, but it didn’t sit well with him.
Burna, 31 reminded Diddy, 53 that he was an old man and would not be able to keep up with his moves.
The ‘Last Last’ crooner said; “Hey fam, OG! I don’t think you remember you are an old man; I don’t want to disgrace you right here. Don’t call me on the dance floor, I’ve been kinging that sh*t.
“You are the king on the records, I will give you that. But don’t call me on the dance floor mehn, that will be embarrassing for you.”
Burna Boy clinched his first Grammy Award in 2021 with his 2020 project, “Twice as Tall” for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category.
Diddy was one of the executive producers on the album.
