Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed recent claims suggesting she helped one of her goddaughters manipulate men.
The allegations emerged from a post by Gistlover, which implicated Ojo and Fola Tinubu, asserting that the actress provided an aphrodisiac to lure men. The post also referenced several celebrities and men allegedly linked to Tinubu.
Responding in a detailed online statement, Ojo, whose grandson recently celebrated six months, emphasized that Tinubu is an adult fully capable of making her own decisions. She explained that she does not interfere in her goddaughter’s romantic life and does not discuss her relationships.
Ojo further clarified that she is unaware of who Tinubu is dating. She firmly denied ever possessing or giving out kayamata, stressing that she cannot give what she does not have.
Regarding her connection with Tinubu, Ojo insisted she has no role in her goddaughter’s personal affairs beyond supporting her business endeavors. She expressed satisfaction in seeing Tinubu thrive professionally.
The actress, popularly known as the “Queen Mother,” concluded by saying that she would accept any allegations about her if they were true. However, she firmly rejected the false claims, returning the negative and unverified statements to the blogger and those spreading them.
