Award-winning Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has once again opened up about her personal life, offering fans insight beyond her career in film.
During a recent appearance on The Morayo Show, the Jenifa star spoke candidly about body enhancement, relationships, and the emotional side of living in the spotlight.
Funke Akindele, who previously had a face-off with Toyin Abraham, also revealed that she actually admires the look of cosmetic procedures like Brazilian B*tt Lift (BBL), especially when done moderately.
“I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like BBL, the skinny ones, not the big ones,” she said.
She further disclosed that she has at some point thought about undergoing such a procedure but has not gone through with it.
“I want to do it but I don’t have the mind,” she confessed, pointing to her low tolerance for pain as the major reason holding her back.
The actress stressed that she does not oppose body enhancement, encouraging those interested to proceed carefully and avoid excess.
“If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead but don’t overdo things. Be careful,” she added.
Her remarks have since sparked conversations around beauty standards and the growing acceptance of cosmetic procedures among celebrities.
Speaking about her personality, Funke described herself as someone who is deeply emotional yet highly disciplined, noting that this has influenced her relationships over time.
“I am an extremist. I love hard,” she said.
However, she admitted that this same intensity has sometimes caused her to step away from people she once held close.
“I’m very strict,” she added, explaining that discipline has sometimes required her to make tough emotional decisions.
