Iyabo Ojo, an actress and star of “The Real Housewives of Lagos,” has defended herself on Instagram against the bullying tag that has been circulating.
This is in response to audience outcry about her treatment of the show’s colleagues, Faith Morey and Laura Ikeji. They have also accused her in public of bullying others, which is what prompted Iyabo Ojo to address the issue.
In a recent live broadcast, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that her actions on TV were only part of a staged performance meant to up the tension in the show.
She said that she made the decision to step up her game in the second season by adding a hint of drama after hearing criticism about her low ratings in the first season.*
Iyabo Ojo now asserts that her actions were a response to the show’s desire for more drama, despite having earlier extended an unreserved apologies to cast members and anybody else who was affected by her decisions.
She pleaded for Nigerians to see the value of drama in several overseas Real Housewives series.
