Nigerian rapper Tobechukwu Ejiofor, also known as Illbliss, has challenged the industry’s old guard to release music despite their claims of paving the way for Nigerian musicians.
In an interview with Channels TV, Illbliss was asked to share his thoughts on the recent disputes in the Nigerian music business around musicians who paved the path.
The rapper stated that everyone are entitled to their opinions, therefore if musicians claim that a path was not paved for them, that is their view.
Even if the elder musicians would not grant the younger artists record deals, he asserted that every young artist was influenced by an older artist.
