The activist dismissed the claims, insisting he has his own influence and could “fill up a stadium” if he wished.
He argued that rice has long been tied to Nigerian politics, where it is shared as gifts during crises, and described the event as a “female thing” where men should only clap in support.

“Nobody has the decency to call it a distraction. Hilda Baci has made Nigeria proud by putting us on the map. And then one person go dey one place dey say Verydarkman is jealous that he cannot pull that crowd. What crowd? I can full a stadium if I want to. I can full it. I will full a stadium if I say I have something to do there. I will have thousands of ratels that would come there.”
