Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, born Sarah Aderibigbe, has opened up about her spirituality and personal beliefs.
The music star made the revelation during a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, where she spoke about her relationship with God and her approach to faith.
According to Ayra Starr, her spiritual goal is to live a life modeled after Jesus, while maintaining a personal connection with God outside traditional religious structures.
“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she said.
She explained that although she may not fully align with organized religion, spirituality remains a core part of her life, adding that her current approach works for her at this stage, while remaining open to future changes.
Beyond her spiritual reflections, Ayra Starr also revealed that she is expanding her career into the film industry. The singer disclosed that she began acting last year and is set to release her debut movie later this year.
