Her husband, Andrew Cabot, CEO of Privateer Rum, has now clarified that the viral moment did not end their marriage, as the couple had already separated before the concert.
According to him, they had been “privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert,” with divorce proceedings already underway. Kristin officially filed for divorce on August 13, less than a month after the clip made headlines.
The Daily Mail reported that initial speculation suggested Andrew had been blindsided by the incident, with reporters even waiting outside his New Hampshire home when he returned from a business trip to Japan.
