Nigerian actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh recently stirred conversations after sharing a heartfelt testimony during a gospel event in Tanzania, where she candidly spoke about her past struggles and spiritual renewal.
Addressing the audience, Dikeh reflected on the challenges she faced while trying to navigate life, describing periods of confusion and the difficulty of finding her path in what she called a “wicked world.”
She admitted that those times exposed her to harmful influences and decisions she now deeply regrets.
“In trying to find my way… I got involved in many wrong things, joined cults, and worked closely with evil forces,” she revealed. Dikeh explained that these experiences taught her valuable lessons about spiritual battles and eventually led her toward redemption.
She recounted a turning point in her life, which she described as a divine call that brought her back to faith.
Affirming her renewed conviction, she stated that evil no longer has control over her: “I know who he is, and I know he has no hold on my life anymore.”
Sharing the moment she felt God’s restoration, Dikeh said:
“God told me… I will take you back, cleanse you, and place you on altars to spread my gospel.”
Her testimony moved many in attendance, who praised her honesty and celebrated her message of transformation and redemption.
