“How Asake contributed to my music career” – BlaqBonez

Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, a Nigerian rapper and Chocolate City artiste, has revealed how superstar singer and his colleague, Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake, contributed significantly to his music career.

Asake used to help BlaqBonez in the studio with background vocals before becoming famous, the rapper revealed in a recent interview with reality star Kimoprah on Hip TV’s Trending program.

Blackbonez claims that he has known Fireboy, Asake, Superboi Cheque, Yhemolee, and Zamorra since the beginning of their professional relationships at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife, Osun State.

He said, “I have known Fireboy, Asake, Superboi Cheque, Yhemolee, and Zamorra since OAU days.

“Zamorra and Asake have always been great at backups. You know this thing Asake does now with his vocals, he has understood this thing from time.

“So, I used to ask him to help me figure out these things. They’ve always been influential in my music journey because I feel like every phase of BlaqBonez helped build the BlaqBonez that I am now.”*

One day these platforms would catch you streaming farm guys – Blaqbonez subs colleagues

Blaqbonez, a gifted rapper from Nigeria, writes on Twitter about other musicians who run streaming farms.

Blaqbonez, real name Emeka Akumefule, made headlines a week ago when he mocked singer Portable over his arrest.

Yesterday, Blaqbonez came out on social media to criticize Nigerian musicians who rely on streaming farms for chart success.

He hoped that one day the platforms would catch them so that everyone would know who the fraudster was.

You may recall that BNXN and Ruger engaged in a social media tiff over the subject of streaming farms.
There have also been allegations that some artists don’t entirely merit the praise they get.
