A Nigerian man simply known as Niyi took to Twitter to explain how his friend lost his whole N140,000 savings the money he saved during his NYSC days.
He stated that the individual saved the money while participating in his National Youth Service program [NYSC] and then returned home.
Niyi went on to say that rather of investing the money in something concrete, his friend used it to place a virtual bet, losing all of his 12-month NYSC savings.
As a consolation, he stated he had to buy him food that evening.
