Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has announced plans to cook the world’s largest pot of jollof rice on September 12, 2025, at Muri Okunola Park, Lagos.
She revealed the six-meter-wide and six-meter-high pot has been two years in the making, adding that the event will also serve as a cultural festival celebrating Nigerian food, music, and community.
“In 2023, the Hilda Baci cookathon took the world by storm. This year, it is Jollof, the heartbeat of West Africa,”
