Rosy Meurer Breaks Silence on Domestic Violence Allegations Against Churchill

Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has opened up about why she is prepared to go to great lengths for her husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Recently, Legit.ng reported on Meurer addressing persistent claims that she allegedly came between Churchill and his former wife, Tonto Dikeh.

The actress clarified that she was never friends with Tonto, denied ever visiting her home, and dismissed the idea that she betrayed a close friend. She also put to rest rumours suggesting she married her own brother, insisting they were entirely false.

In a livestream conversation with Daddy Freeze, Meurer expressed that her love and trust for Churchill are so strong that she would willingly take a bullet for him. She explained that her devotion stems from the unwavering support and loyalty he has shown her over the years.

Meurer highlighted that Churchill has never abandoned her, consistently stood by her, and remained faithful throughout their marriage. She added that they have never had serious conflicts beyond ordinary disagreements. She sees him as a dependable partner and the father of her children, which fuels her strong desire to protect him.

“We love each other. I truly love Churchill. I can take a bullet for him. He has always been there for me, never abandoned me. He has supported me through everything. He is the father of my children. He has never betrayed or hurt me. Our disagreements have never escalated to physical fights. So, why wouldn’t I protect the father of my children?” she said.

Rosy Meurer also shared that her love for Churchill existed even before they had children together. She described how his opinions hold weight in their home because of the respect she has for him. While some people say she “worships” him, she clarified that it is simply a reflection of her love.

She added that Churchill treats her with care and affection, and for her, love is shown through small gestures, attention, and kind words, rather than expensive gifts. According to Meurer, presents are only a bonus, not the measure of their relationship.

“Before I even started having children with him, I was very in love with him. Madly in love. It got to a degree that you can’t even tell me at home what to do. Once Churchill comes, when Churchill says something, it’s final. I don’t care what anyone says. They will still tell me, ‘When it is Churchill, you worship him.’ I don’t worship him, I just love him. He treats me well. Me, I don’t demand much. If you just show me small love like this, that’s it. It doesn’t even have to do with money. You don’t even have to buy me gifts. Just twist me small, tell me sweet things, you have got me, and that’s just it. If you add gifts, it’s bonus.”
