“He Wanted People to Talk”-Tunde Perry Reveals Asake Bought Cars for Both Parents the Same Day

  • Tunde Perry has defended Asake, saying the singer bought cars for both his parents on the same day but posted his mother’s gift first to spark conversation online.

Media personality Tunde Perry has reacted to the online discussions surrounding Nigerian singer Asake and the cars he recently gifted to his parents.

Speaking about the situation, Perry suggested that the singer deliberately handled the posts in a way that would generate public conversation.

“Asake knows how to make people talk about him, he knows what he is doing,” Perry said.

He further claimed that the singer bought cars for both his mother and father on the same day but chose to share his mother’s gift first.

“He bought his mum and his dad’s cars the same day but he wanted people to keep saying nonsense that’s why he posted his mother’s own first,” Perry added.

In other news….Popular Nigerian businessman and internet personality Isaac Fayose has criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying defending the government has become a difficult task.

Fayose was reacting to an interview granted by Daniel Bwala to Mehdi Hasan on Al Jazeera’s Head to Head programme.

During the interview, Bwala downplayed some security concerns, stating, “I acknowledge the fact that we have insecurity in Nigeria, we began to see back to back attacks in Nigeria after the Christian genocide narratives.” He added that no country in the world is free from security crises.

In response, Fayose posted a video on his official Facebook page, stating:

“You can’t defend this government without looking stupid. Nigeria is the fifth deadliest country to live in the world and Nigeria is one of the countries that you will see the most wicked politicians. How did we get here?”
