“He must not chicken out”- Deji Adeyanju Dares Peter Obi to Sue as 7-Day Ultimatum Expires

  • Activist Deji Adeyanju has challenged Peter Obi to follow through with his threat of legal action, noting that the seven-day ultimatum issued to him has expired.
  • In a social media post, Adeyanju insisted Obi “must not chicken out” and questioned why no court processes had been filed yet, fueling fresh debates among political observers and supporters.

Activist and political commentator, Deji Adeyanju, has challenged former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to proceed with legal action against him as promised.

In a post shared on social media, Adeyanju reminded Obi that the seven-day ultimatum he issued had expired. He insisted that Obi must not back down from his threat to sue, questioning why no court processes had been initiated yet.

“Peter Obi must sue me; he must not chicken out. His 7-day ultimatum expires today, where are the court processes?” Adeyanju wrote.

The public exchange stems from recent heated confrontations between the activist and Obi’s camp, with Adeyanju making strong allegations against the former governor. Obi’s supporters have been vocal in demanding accountability, while Adeyanju has maintained a defiant stance, daring him to test the matter in court.

Meanwhile….. GISTLOVER earlier reported that Activist Aisha Yesufu has urged lawyer Deji Adeyanju to present evidence backing his allegations against Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Yesufu, who reaffirmed her support for Obi, said such evidence would determine whether she continues to stand by him.

She welcomed the court case between Obi and Adeyanju, noting it is better for both sides to prove their claims legally than resort to harassment.

She wrote, “Barrister Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudeji has repeatedly said that he has evidence to show that Mr Peter Obi @PeterObi is a fraud and that Mr Peter Obi should sue him. This is a lawyer speaking!

“As a supporter of Mr Peter Obi, I am interested in the evidence the Barrister has. I would not be one to give support to anyone that is fraudulent so this case will offer me and millions of others the opportunity to have access to the evidence Barrister Deji has so we know whether to continue our support for Mr Peter Obi or withdraw it.

“Mr Peter Obi going to court is the civil thing to do. Where one is defamed especially from a LAWYER, then one should go to court.

“If Mr Peter Obi had used machinery of the State to get Barrister Deji arrested and thrown into jail like many of the dictators we fight are doing then I would be leading a #FreeDejiAdeyanju and calling out Mr Peter Obi!

“As for now, #LetsHaveTheEvidence!”
