- Omoyele Sowore has spoken after visiting BLord, stating that his concern is about alleged oppression and lack of due process, while affirming that BLord is ready to face his case.

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has reacted following a visit to detained businessman BLord, stating that his intervention is not about the arrest itself but concerns over alleged oppression and due process.
Speaking after meeting BLord, Sowore emphasised that his focus is on ensuring that legal procedures are properly followed, insisting that no individual should be subjected to injustice regardless of the allegations against them.
He said:
“I’m not here because BLord was arrested, I’m here because he is being oppressed and due process was not followed. There are many people I’ve helped in the past who are now speaking against me. BLord told me to let the public know he is not begging anyone, he is ready to face the case, however, he’s using this opportunity to rest as well.”
Sowore also noted that despite criticism from some individuals he claimed to have previously supported, he remains committed to speaking out on issues of justice and accountability.
