A disturbing incident has been reported in Asaba, Delta State, where a young man driving a Mercedes Benz GLK was allegedly shot dead by men believed to be police officers.

According to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the story on social media, the tragic event occurred on Tuesday night at Playlearn Junction. He stated that the assailants were in a Sienna vehicle, and after shooting the victim, they immediately fled the scene.

Gwamnishu revealed that he contacted several police stations across Delta State to confirm the identity of the officers involved, but all denied any knowledge of the Sienna vehicle or the operation.

The activist further appealed to shop owners and residents around the area to assist by providing CCTV footage that could help identify the suspects and uncover the truth behind the killing.

The incident has since sparked outrage on social media, with many Nigerians demanding accountability and a thorough investigation from the Delta State Police Command.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement as of the time of this report.
