Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 82 in a London hospital.
On Wednesday morning, July 16, the mother of two took to Instagram to express her sorrow and gratitude to Allah for allowing her to say a final goodbye.
Alongside a photo of her holding her father’s hand during his final moments, she shared an emotional message reflecting her deep grief.
“The pain of your absence is immense, but I am finding strength in the love you gave me. You are the reason I know what unconditional love feels like.. I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to give you the goodbye kiss.
“I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.” She wrote
