Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has reintroduced international usage for its Naira-denominated cards, accompanied by new quarterly transaction limits.

The bank had earlier halted international transactions on its Naira cards due to foreign exchange challenges. However, the service has now resumed with restrictions aimed at managing FX exposure.

According to the new policy, customers can now carry out international transactions such as online payments, ATM withdrawals, and POS purchases up to a limit of $1,000 per quarter.

Out of this total, ATM withdrawals are capped at $500 within the same three-month period, while the overall international spending limit remains at $1,000.

These limits apply to all holders of GTBank Naira cards and cover a variety of cross-border payment platforms and services.
