In other news…. Former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, was recently in the United Kingdom to celebrate a proud family moment as his daughter graduated from the University of Essex, Colchester. She earned a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B), marking a significant academic achievement.
The graduation ceremony took place on Wednesday, July 17, 2025, and was attended by close family members, including Jonathan and his reported second wife, Dr. Ayima Lott-Jonathan. According to reports shared by blogger Stella Dimokokorkus, Dr. Ayima is the mother of the graduate and also shares twin sons now four years old with the former president.
Dr. Ayima has long been associated with Jonathan, previously described as his long-term partner. It is alleged that the pair tied the knot in a quiet, private ceremony about two years ago, which did not attract much public or media attention at the time.
The occasion was a joyous one for the family, as they came together to mark the academic success of their daughter. Though Jonathan keeps much of his personal life away from the spotlight, his presence at the event reflected a moment of pride and unity for the former first family.
