On Monday, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo students protested over the school administration’s plan to raise tuition.
According to the students, the institution raised the fees by more than thirty percent.
Chanting several songs of support, the demonstrators congregated in front of the school’s main entrance, blocking both pedestrian and vehicle access to the campus.
They demanded that management go back to what it was before.
