In othe rnews….. A man has cried out for justice after alleging that he and his brother were brutally assaulted by police officers stationed at Eleme Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Narrating his ordeal, the victim claimed the officers stopped their vehicle and demanded ₦1 million as payment for a tinted glass permit. When he and his brother refused to comply with the demand, the officers allegedly descended on them with physical violence.

According to him, both he and his brother sustained injuries during the assault. He further accused the officers of harassment and intimidation, stressing that their only “offence” was declining to pay the exorbitant demand.
