Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has sparked buzz online after flaunting his grey hairs in a playful video.

The 34-year-old artist filmed himself in his car, lifting his cap to reveal streaks of silver, explaining that this change represents a new phase of maturity in his life.

He jokingly told fans that his name should now be spoken with added respect. In the clip, Mr Eazi gestured animatedly, pointing out that his greying hair distinguishes him from his contemporaries.

The singer noted that these signs of aging set him apart from others in his age group, and he wants that distinction to be recognized whenever he is mentioned.

With a humorous twist, he instructed his followers to address him as “Sir Eazi” going forward, treating his silver strands as a symbol of personal growth.

“From now on, you have to call me ‘sir’ because I’m not just anyone’s friend. Look at this it’s no small matter. So when you see me, say, ‘Sir Eazi,” he said.

Mr Eazi gained international acclaim with hits like Skin Tight and Pour Me Water. Beyond performing, he has also made a name for himself as a songwriter and entrepreneur.

In 2025, he tied the knot with actress and fashion influencer Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, through a series of private ceremonies in Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
