A Nigerian graduate has sparked reactions online after boldly demanding that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appoint him as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor just minutes after completing his studies.
The young man, identified as @j_perfect1 on TikTok, issued the demand in a viral video. He said: “I just graduated 10 minutes ago and I never see work. I give you 24 hours, make me the CBN governor. You hear wetin I dey talk? I no wan dey follow them dey do all these things. In the next 24 hours, if I no see say you write application come give me, you go see wetin I go do.”
Though he did not reveal what action he planned to take, he insisted he would respond if the president failed to meet his demand.
The video has since attracted a wave of reactions from social media users, with many amused by his audacity while others dismissed the call as unrealistic.
