A man has shared a painful account of betrayal after DNA tests revealed that none of the three children he raised during his 14-year marriage were biologically his.
According to him, he met his wife in 2010 when she was a single mother with a four-year-old son. Believing her claim that the child’s father had abandoned them, he married her, changed the boy’s surname to his, and raised him as his own. He also funded his wife’s business and handled all family responsibilities.
The couple later had two more children, whom he also believed were his. He said he never doubted his wife, even when she was often absent from work.
His life changed after a casual discussion about DNA testing at work. Confident of the outcome, he tested the children but was shocked when results showed that none of them were his biological children.
At a family meeting, his wife reportedly confessed that all three children belonged to her former partner, the same man she claimed had abandoned her. She also admitted to financially supporting him with her husband’s money and secretly building a house for him.
Following the revelation, the man said he repossessed the assets he had provided and asked his wife to leave with the children to live with their biological father.
He described the experience as devastating, saying 14 years of his life were built on deception and that the emotional pain remains overwhelming.
