Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has arrived in Anambra State to participate in the candlelight procession for late entrepreneur Ifesinachi Onyekere, widely referred to as “Fish Magnet.”
It was earlier reported that Fish Magnet, the son of a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), was tragically killed, sparking widespread reactions online. VeryDarkMan had joined other social media users to mourn the young businessman and announced his intention to travel to Anambra to honour him.
According to the activist, the planned procession aims to raise awareness about the rising insecurity in the state, with a proposed walk through the local fish market where the deceased was well known.
Upon his arrival, VeryDarkMan revealed that further information about the candlelight walk would be released soon. He also noted that a sit-at-home directive is in effect on Monday, August 4, which may affect the event’s schedule.
In a video shared on his social media page, he called for police assistance to ensure safety during the procession and expressed hope for a peaceful turnout.
