Ilebaye, a housemate for the All Stars season, received offers from banks shortly after she was declared the show’s winner.
Ilebaye received an open request to bank with them from two online institutions, and she responded as they both provided her tempting incentives.
One of the financial institutions, Piggyvest, asked Ilebaye to save half of her BBNaija prize money with them.
If Ilebaye put N60 million in the bank, Piggyvest promised to guarantee a return on investment of roughly N7.5 million over the course of a year. Piggyvest estimates that this is greater than 12% interest.
Another financial company, Fairmoney, however, said that if Ilebaye saved half of the BBNaija prize money with them, they might provide her a higher interest rate while quoting the tweet.
