Fans of Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and Simi recently felt reassured after a new video of the couple surfaced online.
Not long ago, rumors spread when a fake divorce document began circulating on social media, leaving many supporters concerned about the state of their marriage. Although their management team quickly dismissed the claims, doubts lingered since the couple had stayed out of the public eye for some time.
In a recently shared clip, however, the two were seen together overseas, enjoying a quiet moment as they admired the moon following the end of the Muslim fasting period.
In the video, Adekunle Gold was the first to notice the moon from outside their home. Popularly known as “Eja Nla,” he excitedly pointed it out, describing it as full and extending Ramadan greetings to his fans. He appeared fascinated by the view and humorously praised human effort for it, which prompted Simi to laugh and tease him for crediting people instead of acknowledging God’s creation.
The singer also wondered how he could record the moon to share the moment with his followers, while Simi tried capturing it on her phone as they chatted.
Fans were delighted by the clip, commenting on how adorable the couple looked together. Some jokingly suggested they must be spiritually closer than others since they could see the moon so clearly, while others playfully remarked that they might be among the first to witness divine events given their “proximity to the sky.”
