- In a post shared on his official X page, Ideye claimed that the club has not settled him and his teammates for bonuses earned during the previous season.

Enyimba striker and former Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye, has taken to social media to call out the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side over unpaid match bonuses.
In a post shared on his official X page, Ideye claimed that the club has not settled him and his teammates for bonuses earned during the previous season.
His allegation comes just days after he disclosed that Enyimba paid players only N7,000 daily for meals throughout the 2024/2025 season.
“Because I get money, I should not ask for the one I worked for? Please pay me and the players last season’s match bonuses. @EnyimbaFC, the season ended in May, till now nothing.
“Next season will start next month,” Ideye wrote.
