Ayodele Fayose, former Governor of Ekiti State has received his first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine in his hometown, Afao-Ekiti.
The controversial politician joined other strategic leaders in the country to take the COVID-19 vaccine jab in order to curb the spread of COVID-19
In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Friday, the PDP chieftain announced that he has been vaccinated against the dreaded disease.
Fayose urged Ekiti people and all Nigerians home and abroad to take the vaccine whenever ts made available by the Government.
He wrote, “Today in Afao Ekiti, my hometown, I took my first dose of the Covid-19 Astro Zeneca vaccine.”
“It is my plea to Ekiti people in particular and Nigerians in general to take the vaccine whenever it is made generally available by the govt. Health is wealth.”
