A family of three were allegedly killed by thunder strike at Tarau Gwer local government area in Benue state on Saturday night.
According to reports, the family died on the spot after the thatch house they were sleeping in was hit by a thunder strike, after a heavy rainfall.
The tragic incident has thrown the entire community into mourning as the man, his wife and their five (5) year old son died.
Peter Kembe, an eye witness told The Nation that the incident is the first of its kind in the village.
