Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Runtown, is poised to lead a peaceful protest today, Thursday, October 8, against SARS brutality as promised.
It would be recalled that Runtown announced that he will lead a protest following that persistent attacks and har assment by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad operatives on young Nigerian men and women.
“This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I’ll be leading a protest to #ENDSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020.” he tweeted.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Runtown reminded his fans about the protest and entreated them to all come along with their face masks for their safety against COVID-19.
He tweeted;
