Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson, has revealed she is broke after cutting ties with her billionaire father.

“People assume I have a lot of money. I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal,” the 21-year-old told The Cut on Tuesday, September 2. She added that she now lives with three roommates because it’s “cheaper.”

“My mom is rich, right? But obviously the other one [Musk]… is unimaginable degrees of wealthy.”

Worth an estimated $413 billion, Musk contrasts with Wilson, who said: “I don’t have a desire to be superrich.” Still, she noted: “I can afford food. I have friends, a shelter, and some expendable income, which is nice and much more fortunate than most people my age in Los Angeles.”

Wilson, Musk’s eldest of 14 children, cut ties in 2022 after changing her name and gender. She has since called him a “pathetic man-child” for not accepting her identity. Musk has countered, saying she was “k!lled by the woke mind virus” and that he was “tricked” into letting her transition at 16.

Reflecting on their rift, Wilson told the magazine the most stereotypical thing about her was “Daddy issues.”

She also spoke on her privileged upbringing, noting her private high school was “filled with nepo babies” like Apple Martin, daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. She said she was taught several languages, went to college in Canada and Japan, but dropped out, blaming AI for killing her “motivation.”

Now an aspiring model with an agent and a Teen Vogue cover, Wilson admitted: “I’m not very good at being famous.”

“I fought so hard for so long to be viewed as a regular person. There was a moment literally right before I became famous where no one knew who I was. It was amazing. Everyone treated me as a regular person. I kind of miss that. But I also like being famous,” she said.

“I guess I’m kind of indifferent to it. But I like the fact that it makes me money.”
