Social media activist VeryDarkMan has stirred reactions online after criticizing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over its reported arrest of Nasir El-Rufai.
In a viral post, he described the agency as “the most corrupt in Nigeria,” alleging that its actions are politically motivated. He claimed that El-Rufai was not investigated while supporting Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election, but is now being targeted because of his alleged opposition to Tinubu’s possible re-election bid in 2027.

The controversy began after Rosy recently stated in a video that she never knew or met Tonto during the time she was married to her husband. She explained that her husband had only supported her and her family like a brother before their relationship later became romantic.
However, social media users later shared an older clip where Rosy described Tonto and her family warmly and mentioned that they had spent time together.
Reacting to the backlash, Rosy said the video was made when she was younger and naïve, adding that she was dragged into issues that did not involve her. She stressed that she is now more mature and is speaking what she calls her true version of events.
