Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy and the Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has revealed that reconciliation efforts are underway regarding the royalty dispute involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo.
In a recent Instagram post, Nancy retracted her earlier statements which Chinwo had deemed defamatory. She expressed hope that God would bring the peace process to completion, noting that respected religious leaders are mediating the discussions.
This comes months after Mercy Chinwo took legal action against EeZee Tee real name Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu her former label head, over alleged misappropriation of $345,000 in music royalties. The dispute dates back to their split in 2023, which stemmed from financial disagreements.
During the course of the legal tussle, Nnadi had accused Chinwo of financial impropriety, prompting the gospel artist to file a defamation lawsuit demanding both a public apology and the deletion of the damaging posts.
Nnadi’s recent post signals a possible resolution, as both parties appear to be moving towards an amicable settlement.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. As well pray that Almighty God perfects ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
