Businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has finally spoken out amid the backlash against Obi Cubana, Cubana Chiefpriest, and other Igbo businessmen who openly support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for re-election.

Earlier reports by Legit.ng revealed that Cubana and Chiefpriest received appointments in the pro-Tinubu group, City Boy Movement. Tensions escalated after a viral video showed them alongside businessman Zenco, showcasing buses reportedly intended for Tinubu’s campaign.

In the midst of the online controversy, E-Money took to Instagram on Thursday, February 12, 2026, to share updates about his upcoming birthday on February 18. He wrote:

“UPDATE! UPDATE!! 6 DAYS TO GO!!! (18th Feb loadingggg!) The countdown is getting real and the excitement is on 100!!! 😄 My heart is sooo full and grateful. Thankful for life, love, growth, and every single blessing along the way! Let the celebration begin alreadyyy.”

Some followers took the opportunity to drop subtle jabs at what they called “hungry billionaires” and “Igbo Judas Iscariot” in the comments. E-Money appeared to notice the remarks, reacting with laughing emojis.
