Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has extended a public apology to comedian Jephthah Bowoto, widely known as Akpororo, for the comments and allegations she previously made against him.
The apology was shared on Thursday, January 22, 2026, via her Instagram account. In the post, Ogala admitted that her remarks were made in the heat of the moment and may have given the wrong impression.
She explained that she had hoped Akpororo would reach out to hear her perspective before reacting. Ogala also acknowledged that her earlier statements caused misunderstandings and clarified that they were not made with a calm mindset.
Expressing sincere regret, the actress asked the comedian to forgive her, emphasizing that her words were fueled by anger and urging him to let go of any hurt caused.
“Akpororo my sincere apology for what I said. I felt you would have reached out to know my side of the story. Anyway, what I said caused a misconception. I apologise. It was said in anger.”
“I tender public apology to akporo. What ever i said was said in anger. Any misconception it must have caused please find it in your heart to forgive.”
