US President Donald Trump is reportedly considering granting a presidential pardon to American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is entangled in a high-profile federal case.
Diddy was recently convicted on two counts related to transportation to engage in prostitution and could face up to 14 years in prison. However, he was acquitted of more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Trump stated that he would “certainly look at the facts” of the case and would only consider a pardon if he believed Diddy was treated unfairly, stressing that his decision would not be influenced by popularity or personal ties.
Diddy’s sentencing is scheduled for October 3, 2025, in New York. Meanwhile, his legal team has requested a \$50 million bail, a motion prosecutors are opposing.
