Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed also known as Bella Shmurda, has said that he does not condemn youths who are into internet fraud aka Yahoo Yahoo, but he also knows that it is not an act one can be proud of doing.
The ‘CashApp’ hit maker made the statement while appearing as a guest on Echo Room Podcast, where he neither admitted or denied being a former Yahoo Boy.
When asked by the interviewer if he ever did internet fraud, Bella initially replied by asking what it was before he then proceeded to say he does not know much about the scheme.
He struggled to give a direct answer as to his past life, rather he spoke about how people get involved in certain illegitimate acts in a bid to make ends meet.
Bella Shmurda also said that some of the people who made money through internet fraud are not happy about what they did, but they became scammers just to make money for their family.
