Cristiano Ronaldo, the renowned captain of Portugal’s national team, has expressed disbelief over the death of Diogo Jota, saying it “doesn’t make sense.”

Jota, a Liverpool forward, tragically lost his life in a car accident in the early hours of Thursday. He was traveling with his brother, Andre — also a footballer — at the time.

Ronaldo wrote on social media: “Doesn’t make any sense. Just now we were together in the National Team, just now you were married.”

“To your family, to your wife and children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world.

“I know you will always be with them. R.I.P. Diogo and Andre. We will all miss you.”

In other news…. Nigerian comedian-turned-pastor, Woli Arole, has weighed in on the controversial topic of BDSM among Christian couples.

BDSM, which stands for bondage, discipline, dominance, submission, and sadism/masochism, involves a range of consensual sexual practices. However, Woli Arole believes it has no place in a Christian marriage.

Taking to his Instagram page, Arole revealed that he was recently asked whether it is appropriate for Christians to engage in BDSM within the bounds of marriage. In response, he gave a firm “No.”

“I was asked Can a Christian do BDSM in marriage? My own answer is NO,” he wrote.

His stance has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some applauding his conservative view, while others argue for freedom and consent within marriage.
