In other news… Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving actress Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Regina’s troubles reportedly began after she publicly alleged that she suffered abuse in her matrimonial home. The situation escalated when her elder brother was arrested and later released, while the actress was said to have travelled out of the country for her safety and to undergo a substance-related test.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Ogbeide appealed to the Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, urging him to step into the matter. She alleged that Ned Nwoko has continued to intimidate and oppress Regina Daniels using his political influence since the actress declared her intention to leave the marriage.

Ogbeide also claimed that Regina was married before she turned 18, describing the act as unconstitutional under Nigerian law. She maintained that the actress has been living in distress and without peace since deciding to walk away from the relationship.

Ogbeide questioned whether the senator had no constitutional responsibilities to occupy his attention instead of targeting his former wife. She further alleged that the 24-year-old actress is currently struggling with high blood pressure as a result of the prolonged dispute, and again urged the governor to investigate the situation.

Reacting to the video, many of Ogbeide’s supporters agreed with her stance and tagged the governor in the comment section, calling for intervention. However, others expressed doubt over the governor’s ability to act, pointing out Nwoko’s strong political influence in the state and claiming that even sitting governors reportedly seek his support during election periods.
