Davido’s ‘Timeless’ makes history as it becomes first album to gain 1 million streams within 6 hours of release on Boomplay

Davido, a celebrated musician, has broken a mark on the music streaming service Boomplay after his new album, “Timeless,” received more than a million streams in the first six hours of its release.

The eagerly awaited 17-track album, which was released at midnight on March 31, 2023, defeated several other albums to take the top position on Apple Music’s charts for Nigeria, the UK, and several other nations.

It also broke the mark for being the only album right now to reach a million streams six hours after its Boomplay release.

Davido has characterised the transition from his most recent album, Timeless, to his previous album, A Better Time, as a whirlwind after the song’s release.

“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least,” he wrote in part.

An angry Nigerian man was caught on camera labelling artist Davido’s recently released Timless album a failure, which in turn sparked a number of responses from online users.

Recall Singer Davido eventually drops his eagerly awaited Timeless album today, March 31st, 2023, according to Intel Region.

Davido published his third studio album, “A Better Time,” on November 13, 2020. His fourth studio album, “Timeless,” is his most recent offering.

Although some music fans had opposing views, the release of Davido’s Timless album has brought great pleasure to the singer’s 30BG fan base.

A Nigerian man was seen in the viral video recently going along with a track from Davido’s Timeless album when he voiced his extreme displeasure with it and called the entire album a failure.

While criticising the Timeless album, he said that everyone should forget that Davido is wealthy. By extension, he requested the voice in the background that was laughing so loudly to leave the speaker
